I think you’re giving her too much credit by implying she cares about the news. Separate TV to watch re-runs of America’s Next Top Model is infinitely more likely.

Hardly anyone actually pays for first/business. It’s all upgrades for frequent flyers that are also mostly only getting that status from required business travel. So basically all the coach class people are subsidizing space for those people up front who generally would not change their travel habits if first class…

Maaaaaan, I went to St. Lucia this past March. Here in America Jr. we tend to look down on the US and hold the English in a little higher regard.  I take it all back.

The newer “economy” airlines in Canada are actually charging more for a carry-on than they are to check a bag. Think it’s a response to the “gate checking” trend.
