One of my best friends died from alcoholism (failed liver) almost three years ago at the tender age of 32. We basically watched him drink himself to death for 16 years. Not to say there weren’t many times when tried to help him. Unbeknownst to us at the time, when his liver started to fail, his body could no longer

Alright, you win, just for that gif

Man you’re not kidding, I drove my ‘11 G37x from Niagara Falls to Halifax 19 hours straight in a blizzard for Christmas ‘16. It’s a fucking snow leopard.

Bought a 2011 G37x sedan in March of 2016, and have put 50k on it since. Aside from the stereo system being the generation before convenient bluetooth capabilities, I would do it all over again in a heart beat.

Guess what else has real rules, real governing bodies, over 1000+ leagues, an international championship, with way more than 37 countries involved, has multiple playoffs and Championships across multiple leagues, and millions of more people around the world than roller derby who are heavily invested and interested.

...assume that the only reason she was able to help build the billion dollar empire she is sitting on was because of one sex tape is because she’s pretty stupid.

Oh you mean the “sport” one step above lingerie football which made a brief appearance in the mainstream in the mid 00's as glorified professional wrestling?

“Genetic luck” or not, Kim K is a multi-millionaire because of her her marketing team’s business sense, and plastic surgeon’s expertise. Tom Brady is famous because he was drafted by the right team and has a HOF coach, and god given athletic ability and intelligence. There’s a big difference between the two, even if,

Ummm, there’s two examples, Kim and Paris, and the story pretty much reads the same for both of them. I’d love to hear about any other attractive young heiresses with sex tapes you know about, for... uhhh, research purposes, yeah...

I agree with most of your argument with one caveat, sports journalism, fashion journalism, political journalism, tv/movie journalism , crime journalism, are all reporting on events, and everything ancillary to those events up to and including the day to day lives of the people involved in those events.

Tucking your shirt in is for fat old guys.

So wait... they’re pissed he saved $36,702?

At least that was a fully formed plan, unlike the current much more underpants gnomes-y plan:

You’ll be the first to die, un-less-you-think!

And thankfully he’s raising the next generation of our overlords. His daughter had what looks to be a failed career as an actress so I guess she’ll just scrape together $10M and open a VC firm, or whatever.

At the rate they’re popping up around here I’m starting to think Canada’s economy is going to be nothing but maple syrup, craft beer, and weed by 2020.

Man, my first time seeing that post, makes me sick that there’s a large perecentage of the US that believes that those are bad things.

That’s essentially saying Democrats can never, ever win the Presidency, or a super majority of the Senate, unless we totally re-write the Constitution. That’s not really a useful observation,

I know progressives want to believe that “Middle America” was primarily driven by “economic anxiety,” but it’s simply not true. They were primarily driven by a hatred of women who have sex, gays who have sex, and brown people (who have sex too, but that’s a secondary issue).
