As a Maritimer I feel like your ratings are based on temperature alone and you’ve never spent an entire winter living within 0-50km of the North Atlantic. I’ll take a dry -30C over damp -10C any day.

Also depending on how far that average goes back, not that I’ve looked at the stats myself, but I believe yearly snowfall amounts in Southern Ontario have been steadily decreasing for the last 20 years.  Unfortunately that’s probably the same story across the Northern US/rest of Canada too.

I predict the Raptors future will play out much like it did for the Bulls after that trade....

Stats/star power wise maybe. Vince and Bosh have a lot of detractors in Canada based on their lack of “loyalty”, and lack of playoff success.  They’ve both been somewhat “forgiven”, but never will be completely let off the hook.

This is definitely the kick in the nuts of it all. All we’ve heard about since the Raptors came into existence is how “star” American players don’t want to come here, or come here and don’t want to stay. DeRozan finally breaks that cycle and they boot him out the door for a guy who refused to play for one of the best…

Hey man, the US hasn’t been going around the world destroying democratically elected governments via proxy assassinations, political coups, and wars for the last 70 years, they’ve just been peacekeeping.  Duh.
