Similar, both gave up the professional stick work to focus on their hobby.

Young children eating things should almost be a separate discussion/article, but pretty much the only thing my parents who have now been divorced for 25 years agree on, is that it’s hilarious to tell stories about when I was around 3 years old how I used to crawl up next my dog when she was being fed and snack from

Cases upon cases of raw Mr. Noodle eaten by myself, friends, and family in high school. Cheaper than chips for munchies man.

I just assumed “waitron” meant you had some kind of awesome robot serving you food and drinks, way to disappoint.

Worked in a grocery store produce dept. for a few years in my younger days, always made me laugh that the labels said “kiwi fruit” and people would also say “kiwi fruit”, instead of just “kiwi”. But to be fair, there is also a kiwi bird, so maybe New Zealanders have to be specific.

But you didn’t even need to practice NHL’95! You just had to skate to the icing line in the corner and shoot! Goal every time baby.

Yeah you’re probably right. I don’t play enough fantasy or sports video games anymore to be super current on rosters. I feel like the hardcore gamers and gamblers are really the only people outside of sports industry professionals who get the name exposure on a daily basis. I could have probably named the top 15

+1 R. Kelly

I think even most “active baseball fans”, would struggle to name more than 20 players outside their team’s division. I think I probably could, but it’d be a stretch, and it’d be 90% pitchers.

If you wear flip flops when you’re driving, you’re an idiot.

I’m guessing that the suggestion that buying fresh tomatoes with your groceries every week isn’t that much of a burden either is just going to blow your mind...

Barry Sanders, the Stafford dislocated shoulder TD pass win, Thanksgiving game every year, Ndamukong Suh’s antics, an 0-16 season. All of these things in the last 20-25 years are infinitely more interesting than anything that’s happened with the Chargers at least since the “Air Coryell” days. They couldn’t even manage

Unless you’re in downtown Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, etc.. basically anywhere needle drug users hang out...

Don’t worry we’re probably going to replace him with the guy who coached the Hawks to back-to-back sweeps by LeBron, it’s going to be a totally different story next year (also because LeBron is probably going to the West and Budenholzer would be crazy to decide to coach the Raps and not the Bucks).

Hahaha, I figured it was a joke, but I didn’t even see the pun, well played sir

Man, you need to read Slaughterhouse Five if you haven’t. Not exactly the same concept as your original post, but some of the stuff you’ve touched on through your replies here skirts all around the themes of timelines in the book. Really I just think you’d really like it :)
