Admittedly massive batteries can be massive disasters.

Where are the Semi Hybrids? Diesel over electric drive. It’s such a no brainer.
EDIT A camp out of van.
Sometimes you never know. I bought a 2013 Ford Transit Connect with 170K miles to be a camp our of van, for awhile. 60K miles later, at 236,000 and it runs perfectly with only minor regular repairs; brakes, water pump, exhaust, etc.
That’s why I call my 04 Focus SE with a 5 speed my Ferrari.
Tire wear is a built in issue on heavy EV’s and this is the heaviest of course. Is the tire size even a standard one and do any of them have a necessary load rating? I had always thought those Knarley tires were cold weather compounds but maybe not. Let me guess. A set of snow tires will cost $1200 and might last 10K…
Not to worry Florida will keep it’s place as the capital of not smart men. Why? I’ve heard it is because Florida police are required to release complete reports of criminal investigations. Most other places only release brief summaries. It isn’t Florida is dumber than other states, I mean it could be, but it’s just…
The previous years similar Eurosport models had a red color called Bright Torch Red and it’s my favorite red car color of all. Not that’s I’d have a red car by choice usually, and I wouldn’t repaint a red Ferrari with it. Pictures never do justice but if you ever find yourself wanting to paint a car red try to check…
My Trabant is still going strong. No need for this.
Where is the engine? Underneath, mid-ship,of course. Handy.
Sleeping and camping are not quite the same thing.
I’m trying to figure out the rope from the steering wheel to the shifter.
The short 101 inch wheelbase was silly, and it was too heavy, 3600 lbs, for being so small.
They should have disengaged, stood well back, and tried to diffuse the situation. At least tried, since in close quarters all parties were at risk. Admittedly this guy was to my mind as the old saying goes, livin to die.
I like to think that almost all ordinary Jane’s and Joe’s would do a little hate on Hertz when they read it but Hertz is just a lot of ordinary Jane’s and Joe’s who will follow the rules to make the company money and screw the customer. And not give it a second thought. Every Hertz employee in this tale having a…
Does the data logger differentiate automatic braking from driver braking? It’s possible the guy wanted to total it and get out from under payments, mostly, maybe. A harebrained plan but then so is self driving.
A dealership with 13 new cars? I didn’t think that was possible anymore.
On the list of things I want, self driving is number 11,236, one spot ahead of getting leprosy.
It had a 3 liter 4 cylinder. Probably the largest 4 cylinder auto engine since the 1920's. Wiki says 4,665 were sold in the US
This gives me a chance to retell my Eagle story. I worked with a guy whose Eagle burned up when the cat started on fire. It seems AMC put a cat on a carbureted car and when it went way rich it went 4th of July.
