    Same here.

@a sexy hot dog: A smarter plan would be to do this to the replacement back; that way, you still have a legitimate serial number on your real back.

This is worse than the moms who claim 'I just left my baby alone in the bath for a second'. Even before I became a mom I knew you weren't supposed to leave little ones alone in the bath for any amount of time. No matter how "independent" your little one it it's not ok.

@Super_Pickle: This is a blog. The editors can post whatever they deem appropriate and popular.

@vsound: Exactly. What with all of the Facebook bashing around here, you'd think Gawker would do something about security themselves. In fact, you'd think a TECH blog would have enough TECH employees to realize the importance of internet security.

@MyNameIsTooAwesome: Apparently, people use computers JUST for an optical drive and Ethernet port. I mean damn, no CD drive? How the hell do you use that thing?

@Dr.Jeckyl: Set it to manual. Of course the electronic and automatic functions won't work without a lens.

@BazookaJoe: Yeah, no, that won't be anywhere near the same effect.
