What temp?

Damn you lifehacker, I said exactly the same thing and now my thread has vanished. Although on the brightside at least someone else out there had the same suggestion

For safety sake dont put the shortcut route right to your house, much easier navigating to a point away from home but within the town, city, village you live in and know how to get to from that point, then if the phone gets stolen those theives dont know where you live. Ok bit obvious but its amazing how many people

I have just returned from two weeks in Spain and have used Google Translate and its worked very well. I even used it on an impromptu visit to hospital. Sometimes it throws up a random word or two but the people I was speaking to got the jist of things.

Ah I see. As Im in the UK that might be why it works for me

I've used hotspot shield for a while now and seems ok

I just have a weather widget across the top on my home screen, nothing more. LP as my home thing (yeh forgot the word, deal with it lol) and starfield live wallpaper. In fact I have just three widgets and three apps in total, everything else I need on LP dock. Battery life lasts 2 days, WIN.

"Try thinking about how you would feel having an argument when you're sick with the flu and a fever. A little cranky? Tired? Just looking for a little peace? She won't give you any? Is she making you feel worse?"

Well, simply because you can. Plus those people with not so great eyesight may need larger text, this solves it.

Does it really save money keeping the aircon all the time? Reason I ask is my parents are in Spain and they keep it turned off until it gets too hot, turn it on to cool the air then turn it off again (repeat x however long is required) and they always complain when I go visit and have it on for too long that it is

SO, in the US you have minimum wage yet waiters are not paid that? How is that allowed?

Exactly so those that are not twats pay the tips and those that are dont. Bingo, it balances out and I keep my money in my sky rocket.

I hate this tipping lark. So you applied for a job as a waiter / bar person, you ask how much the hourly rate is, if you like it and get offered the job, good. Dont expect me to give you extra for doing the job you are paid to do UNLESS you go over and beyond the call of duty and provide me with an exceptional

Its a house so seperate bedrooms, mentioned it this morning and it went ti*ts up. Apparently I am being unreasonable lol

@Adey Jarvis: In the UK we use the term 'gay' to mean crappy, rubbish and even say it to someone being stupid. If you called a gay person 'gay' they would more than likely laugh at you as it tends to get used by kids.

So, any advice on how to deal with a housemates bf being round every day? Feel like there is 3 in the tiny house when only 2 are on the contract, been going on for just over a week and now feel like a lodger

I found that the jobs I have been in and given notice on depended on the pay structure, paid every fortnight then a fortnights notice, paid once a month, a months notice. If I had a job and my manager was on a month long holiday then sorry but my notice would go in. Job prospects dont stop when a manager goes on
