I understand, however, ISPs will not stop being greedy and that means you will end up paying extra one way or the other for services you didn't need in the first place. I wouldn't like an internet where this could potentially happen because ISPs can do whatever they want.

I would love an Apple TV that allows apps. I have mine jailbroken with the Plex app. It would be awesome to use it as an HD HomeRun receiver too, but can't do it until Apple allows apps :(.

I'm pretty sure that's a concept, not made by Apple.
