It's a difference in opinion then as I love turn base.

I wouldn't call Pokemon boring. And a lot of people would agree in that regard. Pokemon's formula has sold bundles and bundles of games and consoles. The same can't be said for Digimon. And I've always been a huge fan of both. Pokemon, by objective measurements (IE sales, ratings), is better.

Digimon seasons 1 and 2 were great. The first movie was great, too. Can't speak for anything after that though.

Of course I'm not trying to bash it. I'd love to get into the games because they do seem to be interesting. Maybe one day.
