For a lot of people, it's just a nice day off. I'd like to do what I want on this day off, not please people like I do all year round and if I want to play some hipster indie game...then I'll play some hipster indie game and not celebrate some imaginative made up character. Besides, everyone knows Batman>Jesus.

All it needs is a cheaper price point, a much cheaper one sadly. We've had less powerful consoles/computers do very well against higher power ones and only because they were cheap.

Gamecube had far more than that and still came in 3rd place. Sad to say it but Wii U is this gens Gamecube, Nintendo will be fine they always have a handheld killing it in the market and hopefully Nintendo will learn some lessons for the next console.

I'd have to disagree with that however Nintendo have had some spin off to main franchises where they were vastly superior to the main entries, the Kirby spin-offs for example have been excellent and could easily be brand new IP's.

Not really, their Nintendo directs and the E3 shows actively dedicate a fair amount of time to 3rd party titles that don't need to be advertise, even in interviews Reggie is always spouting "hey we have CoD too!".

With the Wiimote you can hold either A or B, there doesn't need to be motion controls at all as the pointer works out really well.

Hopefully it's much better than the Wii/DS title. Nice idea (back then, it's kinda old hat now) but the studio clearly wasn't too experienced when it came to level design.

I did enjoy their Ghostbusters game, though the Wii one by Red Fly played better.

It plays the ones I've tried extremely well like Mario Galaxy 2 on Wii, Pkimin GC and one of the Medal of Honour games. Obviously not tried them ALL due to having the original consoles, just stating if you have a $800 PC and it doesn't run at least some PS2 games...you've been ripped off.

I already know of this. It's barely playable so doesn't really count as properly emulated.

It'll be funny if one day you can emulate the Xbone/PS4 version of AC4 but not the PS3/360 one....shit you can't even emulate the Xbox version of Halo. Not like you would want to what with the PC versions but hey ho.

That computer you have? You paid too much, my £330 PC from 5 years ago plays PS2/GC/Wii pretty damn.
