I don't know what I hate more- unambiguously independent characters or unambiguously independent people

The only show that I still allow to be non-partisan is Veep, because the addition of more politics would take away from the comedy. My dad actually stopped watching the show for a while because he couldn't figure out which side of the political landscape she was on

And as a Gen Zer, the cynicism speaks right to my heart and soul, while the technobabble makes me want to reach for a bottle of aspirin. So Win-Lose, I guess…

I like The Newsroom, but it is trying to prove the American Dream so much in its characters that it hollows them out and absorbs the hate. And while I agree that some characters are unlikable and unpleasant, I think the biggest problem of the show is that the characters are too unrealistic. I've never heard anyone

Glad to see a good rating, and I know Sonia is a big Good Wife fan so it gives me hope. This is probably my most anticipated non-superhero drama this year, mostly because I love Good Wife and Tea Leoni is one of those actresses who, while she hasn't done much, always enthralls me. Hope this lives up to the

Kristen Wiig came back less than a year after she was finished, didn't promote a single thing. So if we can see Gilly again for no apparent reason, we sure as hell will be seeing Stefon. And Vincent Price. And so many fucking game shows…

Wow… you really thought this out, didn't you? I'm certifiable, but you're just insane, and so is this idea?

Damn it! You made me actually want to watch this show now!

If they don't land on the Hudson River just once to perform an elaborate heist in Manhattan, the show will be a complete failure. That scene writes itself. But as pilot Carol Burnett once said, "You know what a good pilot would have done? Not hit the birds."

I went with Lewis Carroll because of the Mad Hatter, but I realized later that I was about 50 years off. Ah well.

God I've missed this. Welcome back, Jay, Alex's Mustache, and Jeopardy!!

How far into the first episode did someone say "I caught you red banded!"?

I wasn't aware. Congratulations, Commodore!

Bicycle Race by Queen

That's Captain Underpants.

The Boxer

I'd really love for Carrie Underwood to star as herself in House of Cards as some distant relation to Frank, only to end up in a confusing orgy and die after being literally thrown under a bus. And I think that is all entirely rational for an episode of House of Cards and Carrie Underwood's career.

The McCarthys
Manhattan Love Story
Red Band Society
The Mindy Project
2 Broke Girls

That Good Wife episode is called "Hitting the Fan" not "It Hits the Fan". Get it together, What's on Tonight. Really…
