Ahsoka is not a prequel character.
I feel bad criticizing mushroom photography as it’s a hobby of mine, but the overall winning image is just....bad. Poor focus (pick one and focus on it!), bad lighting (black background? reduce aperture, increase shutter time, receive properly lit background and better dof), and way, way over saturated (maybe I’ve…
If these are the best of the contest, I'm glad I wasn't one of the judges. Having to wade through hundreds (thousands?) of mediocre images. I wouldn't call any of these outstanding.
To make sure I understand this, the Paleoecology runner-up is an actual photograph that came in second to a digitally created picture?
Intellectual Poverty, like copyright, is a cancer. It rots and decays culture and technology. “Planned obsolesence” and so many other problems are rooted in this broken and utterly unnatural concept. Copyright was created for the express purpose of censorship and control by authorities
I'm fairly certain that began when humans learned to speak.
Amazon vs. “Influencers”
Well thousands of people who’ve been driving cabs and rideshares will lose their job and wind up homeless, so if you can find a way to spin “bigger homeless population” as a good thing...
Interestingly, you might think Christianity would be a force for peace in post-Roman Britain, but it’s cynically used as a decoy by faithless power mongers.
I think the legislators in the state capital need to eat their own dog food.
The book is set in the late 5th or early 6th century, since St. Samson is a character (and not much of a saint). The familiar Arthurian characters and their Norman names are a visible anachronism which Cornwell freely admits, but overall the book tried to portray the post-Roman Britain accurately at least in the first…
It says named after “Indiana Jone’s least favorite animal”, not “snake”. Indiana Jone’s least favorite animal is obviously Harrison Ford.
Yeah, major fail for this article. Guessing they either didn’t get permission to use the photo, or couldn’t be bothered to ask.
Yes, I was expecting the scientific name to be “Snakes whydidithavetobesnakes” or something like that.
“Harrison For Reacts to New Species Being Named After Indiana Jones’ Least Favorite Animal”
Where’s the picture of the snake?
Would be super cool if you included even just one example of changes made between the theatrical and home release.
Maybe it's my general superhero/franchise malaise, but I can't get excited about this show. Since we know nothing of consequence happens because of the sequel trilogy, the stakes seem low.
I saw a place selling “bubble tea” and I thought it was carbonated. Instead, it just had gross rubbery balls in it. I would have preferred if it was carbonated.
