Ever since her Breaking Bad arc, I’ve thought Ritter was a very good actor. She’s got chops in genre acting under her belt so this should turn out OK. I think she can handle multiple roles, so hopefully she gets a chance to do what Maslany did. If were not going to get more Jessica Jones, this is acceptable.

a lot of pills are made specifically that way, or at least the bad taste is ignored, to avoid poisonings and such.

I mean... it is a TV role on a pretty small streaming service while she’s actively shooting other films in the Marvel role, and it’s source material was a beach/airplane novel, so I doubt it? It’s possible, I guess.

I don’t blame any actress (or any actor, really) for spending their physical peak years doing tent-pole BS if they can get it. It’s already a significant miracle that they’re getting paid decent money to play pretend. The film industry is fickle to the point of brutality (especially toward attractive, young women.)

That would have landed better if it were true.

I loved it. It was one of the set of VHS tapes that I’ve known nearly word for word for 35 years because I lived overseas for a while and had no English TV when I was a kid.
