Interesting takeaway from this election cycle: Turns out that the GOP, the party that routinely wraps itself in the American flag and the Constitution, not really all that interested in democracy.

Tilda’s arguement is a better explaination than what Marvel gave us.

The reason she contacted her in the first place was because of comments Margaret made about Tilda’s casting. It’s not like she picked a random Asian person out of a hat . Margaret made comments about Tilda being cast in a role. Tilda decided to contact her and talk to her.

Which is more offensive...a white person playing a Tibetan role, or a Han Chinese person playing that role? There is sort of a long history of genocide involving the latter.

Man I’m actually pretty disappointed in how Margaret Cho played this. Glad Tilda kept the receipts.

Tilda is a prince. Margaret is kind of a disloyal, lyin’ ass-munch? Eh, I still love them both.

Good for Tilda. She could have just cashed her cheque and went about her day. Instead, she is making an effort to be woke and to make a difference only to have it thrown back in her face. She came across completely genuine in this exchange.
