Not even really her 20's, bush took office when she was 14 and left when she was 22.

In all seriousness:

So now we’re shitting on people for reaching the right conclusion but not being super aware of world events in their 20's. Just wanna be clear on this. That’s our new bar. You suck if you didn’t know about stuff in your 20's that you should have.

Political revolution is exactly what we need to fight the full throated corruption and graft of the republicans and the “soft” corruption of the politicians that only care about the money of lobbyists.

You’ve been given a huge platform and this is the kind of garbage you’re going to write?

I’m not gonna dash to the defense of Centrist Hollywood celebrities who lost touch with socially liberal values long before they began hawking overpriced cell phones between old jokes set to laugh tracks, no matter how gay they are. But just a reminder: Donald Trump is president. Pick the fights worth fighting. America

I dunno, I still think George W. was a patsy. He’s just kind of a dumb man, and he was put in a position to be taken advantage of by much smarter, genuinely evil people. I don’t really know how culpable that makes him to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the various associated war crimes, but I can at least kind of

They don’t mind if they use communist authoritarianism to make capitalists profit.

China’s ability to be both communist and very capitalist at the same time depending on what they’re doing and to whom is amazing.

George W. Bush was absolutely one of the single worst presidents in American history. No question. But the gap between Bush and Trump is incredibly vast, so if Ellen DeGeneres wants to demonstrate a little good will towards a former president—even a gross one—in order to signal what the modicum of acceptability is,

Ellen may not be a political genius, but she’s an excellent judge of character. She’s a humanist, and she should be seen through that prism. She is separate from all of this muck. Let’s be fair here.

So I made a similar comment last week, but bear with me.

De-escalate violent rhetoric. Emphasize shared values with people who disagree with you.

“Y’all Qaeda”

It was the funniest thing I had heard in weeks. Her “Go, Cougars!” tweet has me all cheered up.

That’s the problem with hitching your wagon to a carnival barker like Trump - eventually he’s gonna get run out of town, and they’re gonna be left holding the bag.

This, in all likelihood. “Y’all Qaeda” will basically become a thing, and we’ll end up rooting it out.

I’d say bring it on but it’s not like they will have the balls to fight a fair fight. No, they’ll just start bombing federal buildings ala McVeigh like the fucking cowardly terrorists they are.

I try to find the silver lining and imagine just how fucked the Evangelicals will be once he is gone.
