Demon's and Dark Souls. They've practically ruined other games for me.

You're right, Pinwheel is undoubtedly the toughest of the bunch.

The only recent RPGs in memory that I thoroughly enjoy replaying are the Souls games. I think it may be due to their well-executed skill based combat system (with leveling and stats simply complementing said system) and lack of filler content.

Demons=Dark>Dark Souls 2

Erm, I didn't really enjoy any of the actual areas/locales in the AoTA DLC. The characters and bosses, however, were top-tier, especially Artorias and Kalameet.

The peak of the series is undoubtedly Tower of Latria.
