To me, this is the worst part about the subject. Old, white men that have NEVER had to experience racism of any sort stating how black people should feel. There’s been no oppression in 100 years?!? What makes that comment even dumber than it initially seems is Ditka is literally old enough to remember a time when

Yeah, I know. LaVar. But, when it comes to Lonzo himself, what exactly is unlikeable about him? Sure, he has some of that youthful arrogance, but nothing over the line. Actually a fairly balanced young man in interviews. Never heard of him getting into any sort of trouble.

Which branch did you serve in, fine sir?

“...but I’ve heard multiple stories of Hawks players learning about the trade and screaming with jubilation into their phones.”

How in the FUCK penn state is allowed to field a football team is just insane and disgusting. And can we all at least agree that Paterno was a horrible person? I don’t give a god damn about how many wins he had and I don’t give a shit that he coached at penn state for 115 years. Knowing what we know now, it speaks

Lonzo really reminds me of LeBron in so many ways. Like LeBron, Lonzo comes into the league with tremendous expectations, but seems wise beyond his years and has tremendous poise. Also like LeBron, Lonzo has a court vision and basketball IQ that can’t be taught. Shooting and defense can be worked on and practiced.

I agree that Shaq was the best player on the three-peat team, but to say Kobe wasn’t the best player on his other two title teams?!? Yikes.

Like most white males under 50 and under 250 lbs., I ignore baseball until October. With that said, I was on the treadmill the other day and I saw some ESPN show state that the Dodgers were 43-7 in their last 50 games. (This was Sunday, so they’ve probably won or lost some games since then.) That is just fucking

    I lol’d at this.

I think we all forget sometimes that sports are nothing more than a genre of entertainment. And with combat sports in particular (the matches are set up rather than playing in some sort of tournament,) it’s only right for the promoters to give us the matches that will be most anticipated by the public. Mayweather

The Pacers seem like they just don’t grasp reality at this point. The team will never land a top free agent, so they must build through the draft. When doing that, it’s best to “give youngsters a chance to play” - better known as tanking. The Pacers are bad. Like, really bad. They barely made the playoffs in a poor

While that is a ridiculous trade that would never happen, the Knicks definitely don’t get screwed in that deal. They’d only give up a guy that publicly wants gone anyway to land a 25-year-old point guard that has already proven that he can be the second-best player on a title team. And I’m not even sure if the Pacers

Please bring back the thing where your website openly mocks the Cardinals after every loss! You were doing it the “right way” and following all of the “unwritten rules!”

    Fuck Penn State.

Jesus Christ. I’d rather stop watching sports than root for the Celtics, but what did Hayward do that was so wrong? Who the hell wouldn’t get out of Utah to go play in a major city and have an outside shot at making the Finals? I’m not even sure Utah would have been a playoff team WITH Hayward this upcoming season.

In simple terms, here’s what happened: Gordon and/or one of his people let Boston know that Hayward had chosen the Celtics. Gordon and/or his people had not yet let Utah know. Hayward to Boston will soon be official.

Truth be told, I think a lot of people thought this was a good trade when it happened. The players that Brooklyn gave up haven’t exactly set the league on fire (Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries-Kardashian, MarShon Brooks, Kris Joseph and Keith Bogans.) The draft picks Brooklyn gave up have so far produced...James Young

My least favorite NBA post-draft story (can already comfortably say this) will be about how LaVar Ball “cost” his son the chance to be drafted by the Lakers if Lonzo is drafted after the #2 pick. Do you really think MAGIC JOHNSON GIVES A FLYING FUCK ABOUT LAVAR BALL?!?!?! Or, for that matter, do you think any NBA team

BUTTTTTTT, doesn’t this disrespect the “unwritten rules of the game” and “disrespect every legend ever?” I mean, if so, I don’t want to see this. I’d hate for a sport that considers it improper to watch a homerun but perfectly OK to throw a 90-100 mph pitch at a defenseless player to ruin the sanctity of the sport!

One thing I can guarantee: LeBron is not leaving Cleveland unless he has an option that clearly offers a better chance to win it all. Based on the Lakers roster and the fact, even if CP3, Blake and DeAndre are all still on the Clippers when Bron becomes a free agent, that would be a team that plays to the exact
