This argument is always dumb as fuck. Results in a tournament have absolutely zero to do with who actually belonged in the tournament. What if Gonzaga loses today vs Northwestern? Did the Zags not belong in the tournament?

Depends on what you mean by “worried.” Fuck, Golden State is missing Kevin Durant - a top-10 player at worst! The Cavs are missing Kevin Love - a 20/11 big that was shooting 38% from three. We can over evaluate those teams all we want, but those are the biggest issues. It would still be big surprises if either missed

I really, truly, no-joking-about-it don’t see how how this was a bad move by the Browns. A young, awful, talentless team needs draft picks. No player or being - not even the Jesus thing, if you believe in fairy tales - could help the Browns be contenders in 2017. Sure, Osweiler has a laughable contract. Who exactly

But, no one has ever said Westbrook isn’t having an insane statistical season. So is Harden. More assists than Westbrook. Fewer points, but Harden is shooting better everywhere based on every raw and advanced stat. And, Westbrook is averaging 5.5 more shots a game. Shot attempts should not be the determining factor.

Let me guess: This plane - that obviously had major flaws and isn’t that good - would have won the plane national championship if it weren’t for the plane refs! Sounds like something people from Michigan would say.

I think Leonard has a good case if the Spurs finish with the NBA’s best record, but even then, I think the MVP comes down to Westbrook and...James Harden, a guy that was not mentioned in this article except to say Leonard blocked his shot and guarded him. Harden is not averaging a triple double, but is putting up

When I watch pro sports, I watch them to watch the athletic competition. I really could not give a fuck less if LeBron or Brady or Kris Bryant practice yoga during the National Anthem.

Was never the biggest Piazza fan, but if he hates the morbidly-obese STL fanbase and soccer, then I have gained new spect for him.

At least he’s a teammate that his team can count on. Not like he’s ever sat out important games to rest for the next season or inexplicably flown home without letting anyone in the franchise know.

The Kings are just lost, man. How do you rebuild when you suck to start with? The lack of success in Sacramento is not on Boogie’s shoulders.

I agree with you 100%. If you feel like you MUST trade a superstar, then make it worth it. Essentially, the Thunder traded Harden for Steven Adams. While Adams is a decent big, you don’t trade yearly MVP candidates for decent bigs.

I think Richardson is a fair comparison. Trent got a ton of hype because of playing at Alabama and then landing with a young(er) Andrew Luck, but he was really nothing more than a backup back that was going to put up backup numbers.

I’m waiting until his career is over to rank him historically, but I don’t think the conversation about best ever is as easy as “Michael Jordan was 6-0 in Finals!” I’m going to break a major unwritten rule in sports and not completely use revisionist history. The Bulls played in a really bad NBA. And MJ was on the

I fully believe that Hinkie (or any GM in a similar situation) should take the exact same approach that Hinkie took. Take the #7 seed in the East right now, the Bulls. Chicago brought in past-their-primes vets that other teams didn’t want. Now they have no future and have zero chance of winning more than one flukey

    Boy, that was clever!

Nice to see. No one ever said that only fucked up situations occur on the campus of Penn State and Baylor. Everyone views those schools as worthless pieces of shit because they ignored the allegations, but went to great lengths to cover the shit up.

Since this comes on the anniversary of Kobe’s 81-point game, it reminds me of this: Wilt’s 100 points is the most unbreakable record in sports. It will never be touched. Kobe’s 81 is the closest, and he would have had to have played almost another full quarter at the insane scoring pace to even tie the record. No

Notice how every adult in this “story” mentioned something other than women’s rights (even if they did mention women’s rights)? I think most people saw through yesterday’s events being about women. It was actually a chance to throw an adult temper tantrum.

Penn State West is at it again. I wish both schools would be banned from participating in sports (or in any endeavor, really. If pedophilia, rape and coverups by the top employees on campus are not only condoned, but commonplace, then there’s no place for those places.)

If raping kids on school property isn’t worthy of the death penalty, I’m not sure what is.
