I’m coming in late with this one. The first thing I saw this morning was the NYT headlines in my inbox. The first article was about Trump and the swamp he has created, how he has used his administration to make millions for himself.

This is vaguely embarrassing, but I honestly thought the song was “Animals” and not “Panama” until about a month ago. I always sing it to our cats, and my husband realized I wasn’t just changing the words to make a silly cat song and clued me in *facepalm*.

Aside from the fact that they are very expensive cats, which might make them a target for thieves, they could get hit by cars, eaten by coyotes (there’s at least one large one in my neighbourhood), and they are preying on the local wildlife.

This is something most people who’ve had a cat for over 10 years eventually picked up on their own after watching the cat do it to them.

I disagree. She could have shredded him, but then she would have risked being the angry black woman. She got criticized for it against Biden in the primary debates. Her goal, rather than to move the needle toward Biden for the undecideds, was simply to do no harm. 

black people and women are held to different standards. the fact that she’s both gives her extra layers of attacks. they would have called her a mad black woman if she had. 

They should have used the appropriate force:  large caliber machine guns just to be sure. 

Lenny Kravitz is pretty and I liked a couple of his albums. But he ain’t a rocket scientist. He had no idea that “American Woman” had anything to do with anti-American sentiment.
