Bullshit! Get your facts straight. It was the BC Supreme Court who granted an injunction against the Wet’suwet’en protesters and included an order for the RCMP to enforce it, not the Federal Government.

Pierre Trudeau was always pretty measured in his comments about US Presidents. When Nixon called Trudeau ‘That asshole up in Canada’ his response was ‘I have been called worse things by better people.’

The US is Canada’s largest trading partner and Trudeau has had some unpleasant experiences already in dealing with that narcissistic imbecile. He took the right approach, especially as he is absolutely correct that Canada is not ideal with it’s own ongoing problems with discrimination.

I too believe that sometimes cheating can be forgiven, depending on the circumstances and as long as it’s not used as a weapon going forward by the betrayed party. I believe his lying to you for a year about his grad program to be the more problematic of the two.
