@SemiPropriusExplorator: I'm starting to feel the same way. Borderlands has a similar system and I'm not terribly fond of it. I just end of grabbing the first shield with any sort of health regeneration and try to ignore the randomly dropped health items.

@Zeidust: I'm worried about the same thing. You can only do so much with that parts of past characters unless, of course, you can do a palette swap of some kind.

@Sakilla: No doubt. I don't understand the gripe with DLC. I understand the fear that companies are going to purposely pull content so they can sell it to you at a later date, but still... If you don't want the DLC, dun buy it! It is completely optional.

I don't like the idea of a blanket patent and apparently the judge didn't either. This dude was trying to sue for the ability to talk to another player in a game. That, to me, is like Myspace trying to sue someone for the creation of the ability to comment on a site.

I swear, people will do anything to make a buck. Also, why do all these people that try and give games a bad rap refuse to take responsibility?
