See I'm arguing that it's an above-average late-90's monster movie - Jeunet embraced the pulp.

Alien Resurrection is severely underrated. You've got a classic Sigourney performance, a stacked supporting cast (Hedaya! Perlman! Dourif! Wincott!), a Whedon script that piles on the banter and dives into the queasy Ripley/Alien symbiosis, and a grimy Jeunet aesthetic.

Appreciated the review too. The tvtropes link was a nice touch.

If I could buy episodes directly from the network for like, $1 a pop, I probably would, or at least I'd consider it instead of the free alternative…
