So so so ironic, considering the Gawker redesign. Facebook doesn't annoy me nearly as much as this site.
As bad a tip as this may sound, I've actually deleted some of my bookmarks and resorted to simply liking the website on Facebook where I receive the occasional update from it, it feels nice to have everything in one place and it cuts down to the main stories.
A better list than the one in the article, although that's probably down to the fact that they were focusing on 'unusual' items.

Love these charity apps that donate, because you literally can't turn them down, you'd drop that amount in a collection tin anyway and you get a great game.
Life is busy. I fucking love video games but even I sometimes can't find time for them. These short games are perfect for a rental on one of those hung over rainy days.
