@Shadowise: It's such a ridiculous idea as well, what percentage of gamers buy the 'special edition'? Maybe 5%? The main fun aspect about zombies for me at least was playing with 3 friends and even if I decide to pony up I'll never get 3 of my friends to.

@Strife Fox †: Goddamn I hope this is good. I sunk so many hours into this (way more than the single player) and it was just something they tacked on at the end, imagine how good this will be if they give it the attention it deserves after all those map packs it helped sell.

@brixish: All good points, but if you think about it there are a lot of sequels that don't have much in common with the original apart from game play, Final Fantasy being the best example.
