#COTD

You’re welcome, saplings shoot up in a season all over the place, you probably mow down a few dozen every spring taking your usual trail ride.

“architected”? Really? Instead of impugning my profession, just use “drafted” or “drew” the blueprints, since any Architect actually designing a firearm would make it far more attractive and ergonomic (not that many would, though).

The fascinating thing about trees, is that they grow.

Yea this makes NO sense. I played EVE off and on for a few years, and probably still would, but I digress. The big events in Vegas and Reykjavik were always highlights the general game populous would follow, closely, due to the new stuff and shenanigans. San Diego is just... whut?

I’ve only done one long weekend glamping in an RV, grew up old fashioned camping in a tent. Still wrapping my head around it but the 5th wheel makes more sense to me... but it’s nice having options!

So you can park it at the campground and drive into town.

Its grown on me. Plus I see how much stuff two sets of relatives pack in theirs, and it kinda makes me jelly.

I have a deep infatuation with Mazda’s design language right now, that gap at the hood overhang to the front grille just gets me. It’s kinda subtle on the CX-5 but they’ve exaggerated it here and its sublime!

Mount Erebus’s lava lake and activity shrinking is unmentioned. You know, one of the worlds most active volcanoes which happens to be in Antarctica? Spewing all sorts of lovely fumes 24/7...

Today I saw a new Supra in matte blue on my morning commute.

You can probably do it cheap using scrap leftover material, too!

Scooters bad! Poo... ok!

I for one cannot wait to binge Tailspin and other Disney Afternoon titles with my 4 year old.

Long Live the Derptron!

Words cannot be strung together to make an apology good enough, appropriate penance requires flowers and a card. Fancy dinner if I laughed...

1st Gear: I have yet to see ANY news article or commentary on this topic to address what I see as the elephant in the room.
Nothing is stopping auto makers from voluntarily exceeding the required emissions standards set by the EPA, or by California. They could look at this as an opportunity to one up each other and get

Amen. I’ve argued the same before. They’re leaving marks like Fleetwood, Eldorado, Seville on the table but trying to follow the euro competitors in naming... people don’t buy those cars because of the name unless those names are M or AMG, which MEAN SOMETHING.
Cadillac’s old names meant something too, and should

I have to wonder if this is the result of the brain drain at GM from the massive firings layoffs  buyouts purge of the old guard engineers in the last year?

This is the correct take. Cadillac is a ship without a rudder and it’s boneheaded moves need to be chastised with vitriol. The smarter move would have been to make an even more bat-shit crazy version, V+ or something, with a hybrid AWD system.
