The rooftop tents look cool, and there’s something to be said about not having to lay down a tarp and deal with wet ground... but I got a monster tent last year that theoretically sleeps 11, which fits a queen air mattress, the kid’s cot, dog’s bed, and plenty of elbow room for bags and other gear.…
