My GTI was a 2 door so that’s a tricky one to objectively answer, and my kid was still in the removable carrier when I had it. It clearly had more head room for seated passengers, and I’d confidently guess that on the 4 door the entry is easier. The fold down seat backs made plenty of room for the German Shepherd or

I don’t want a crossover, that’s my wife’s territory. My previous non-ATS was a GTI, which is a damn good big small car for all things suburbanite professional 30 something dad...

Its fun being the youngest customer in the dealership... ;)

The suspension and chassis in general certainly feels much more up to it than the SRX did.

The ATS is already pretty dang small for a sedan. I wouldn’t want to sit behind myself in it (I’m 6'1) on a road trip, and people taller than me don’t get a lot of legroom in the passenger seat with the baby-seat behind it. It babies, but not greatly.

Maybe the new small car will be an ATS Wagon or fastback... as is

During the recession I delivered flowers and party decorations (for my future father in law, who happened to be out of town during this encounter).

On a delivery run one weekend morning in the shop van, I was tailed for a mile by a local PD, and then pulled over. I produced my up to date documentation, license, etc.

There is very little Design involved in these McMansions... it’s more of an excercise in how to maximize allowable area based on local regs and then fill the box with shit.

Wife test drove it. Turd confirmed.

Probably why the quotes I got were pushing $500 a month...

Breaking news! Shrewd Businessman leverages legal options instead of pursuing altruism, more at 11!

The near 20" difference in vehicle length is also “just over a foot”.

My first local dealer has given me a lease quote that made me laugh and not want to talk with him again.

For heated seats Essence is required package right?

Got any in Red?

Now if only they’d start populating dealer lots... I’m going to have to extend my ATS lease at this rate...

The CUE in our 2014 ATS (pre-Carplay) was entirely serviceable, and we didn’t find it nearly as clunky as Jalopnik writers like to opine about. Did what it was supposed to do. Phone based nav would play over whatever you were listening to seamlessly (volume just lowered in the background)!

Hell yes! Its awesome!

More than my wife is comfortable driving and more than we need. More kids will change that equation.

Tempting, only an hour from my office...
