No big deal, I don’t read too much into the things people say here and I have a pretty calm inner monologue so I don’t often misinterpret people’s tone. When it comes to the auto industry, I also happen to be a little more “in the know” than the average commenter.

There is some truth in the tariff issue. However, if a company that tracks its sales numbers and the employees responsible for product sales see that 1. Their lineup isn’t selling, and 2. That SUV’s and Crossovers are what is, can you blame them for axing products that don’t sell and introducing what the market is

Do you know how many times I’ve seen this response and it turned out to be true?

Wrong. Ford is not down 50% in the US. If that was the case, they’d close up shop. They were off by 100,000 units yoy 2017 2018.

Meanwhile Ford is busy being profitable and enjoying increased sales growth despite a shrinking offering of vehicles.

Dear Enthusiasts,

Drive both, compare, delete post.

You’ll get your wish, well, except for the manual.

Same vehicle, that Kuga is the ST Line trim level. There will be something similar on Escape.

I mean, they both have tail lights... so similar.

I’m all in on this thing, but $62k seems like an aweful lot of money for such a crude vehicle. There are far more capable and loaded trucks to be had for that kind of money.

Is that The Brick? I was going to post these, but you beat me.

The problem has always been getting someone into one. I drove an EcoBoost Limited with every option for two years. It was a blast and handled surprisingly well for its size. When I got rid of it, the whole family was bummed. The kids had their own little mini sunroofs, we had ours, heated and cooled seats, heated rear

This is the final year for it. Sadly, it’s a great road trip car and with the EcoBoost V6 it’s pretty fund to drive for what it is.

So bland they sell the SHIT OUT OF THE ENTIRE LINEUP and they’re adding additional employees on the Expedition line to keep up with demand.

I think it’s awesome. It moves the screen upward, keeps your eyes higher toward the road, and frees up additional dash space below the screen for things like sunglasses, phone, etc.

It’s called usable space below the dash. The dash in the RAM is HUGE and it’s easy to mount the screen in the middle because you have a massive console. I for one LOVE this design and find it super easy to use in other vehicles with a similar layout.

So because Ford offers vehicles people prove they want by buying them as fast as possible, offering the things they are asking for (the buyers not you) they hate America? I’m confused.

Why is this a bad thing? Give me one solid reason that isn’t wrapped in a snarky comment.

Driving late nights through Colorado on the way west where there is little to zero ambient light, these screens have to be dimmed almost all the way down for me to be able to see what’s in front of me on the road. This feature is something I would definitely appreciate.
