"not enough information"
No, but it may encourage the police to investigate this incident further, which means they'll investigate it properly, as opposed to the insurance companies who will just bicker over who was more wrong.
My most recent dealing was when I hit a badger and came off my motorbike. It took them two years to pay out. Both the accident and the insurance side of things were a complete bitch!
They can certainly reconstruct the accident, but they won't because no one was killed. You're right about them measuring from the video, but I'm not sure how possible it will be with the camera moving like it does. It not only travels forward, but also turns, which is really going to mess with your measurements. I'm…
"they are not reasonable or particularly nice."
You're a pig-fucker, I saw a car with three wheels off the ground, therfore having lost the vast majority of it's braking power.
He came out of the side of the shot, which always looks faster than it is, and the shot was taken from a moving (and turning) vantage point, which muddies the waters even more. The only way this shot could be more misleading is if it had a fish eye lens on as well!
Apparently he was spotted speeding elsewhere, so yeah he probably is an arsehole, and an asshat to boot.
Not sure if the airbags did go off actually.
I don't understand? Trust me, I hate these dickheads who terrorise London's streets in super cars. They're usually not UK residents so rock up in the summer and fuck everyone's lives up for a couple of months then fuck off again without a care.
Yeah, apparently he's been spotted/filmed speeding elsewhere, so that'll change it up a bit. If he was reported elsewhere for speeding the police will look to prosecute him for that, which means this may well go entirely against him.
Yeah, others have mentioned that he was spotted/filmed/reported speeding elsewhere, so it could well be that the police would look to prosecute. If they succeed then it'll change everything.
I'm not sure there's enough in the video for doing that, but if they could source some CCTV then it'd definitely be possible. The issue I see is that the video is taken from a moving position, so it will be hard to ensure that your reference points all stay the same, as you'll be seeing them from different angles.
"The only way the authorities wouldn't find the Lamborghini at fault is if they were incompetent."
Ok, good work, keep it up.
Ok.
Man I wish more people would buy disused airfields! Then we'd get a few more places we can race around here!
The way it works in the UK is that insurance issues are a civil matter and they can agree on a percentage of blame. From the video it's not apparent that the Lambo is speeding. If they are speeding, they're not going fast enough to be conclusive. As such the insurance companies will have to argue over that. If they…
No, it doesn't, because there is no proof that the Lambo was speeding. What there is proof of is that a Mazda pulled out in front of a Lamborghini and the Lamborghini didn't have enough time to stop.
I don't know where you're from but I know for a fact that in the UK the insurance companies will decide that the Mazda is at fault.
