What’s baffling is if they have nothing ready to show, why on earth would they agree to release a trailer?

Shouldn’t matter. If I’m paying $10 for it and large portions of it don’t require internet (ie not multiplayer) it shouldn’t be required. Also, there are countless people continuously without internet like those on subway commutes that cut off mobile data.
