My current apt is the first that has central air. I quickly learned that setting the AC to 71 degrees was too cold. Even at the peak of summer here in South Carolina, I kept it at 77 degrees and only had to run it in the afternoon on the auto setting.

As a child of the 70's, I think of some of the lunches moms made and wonder if that’s one of the reasons we got sick so much. We used plastic or metal lunchboxes, or brown bagged it. My mom in particular would make cream cheese and jelly on cinnamon raisin bread as one of my lunches.
