I know it’s not simple, and that’s a great example of what can go wrong, but as it stands now injury is pretty much the only way the Steelers beat the Patriots as constructed.

It’s a huge change, but that’s what I’m saying. Just about any given year, barring injury, anyone coming from the AFC is going to have to play New England. It’s not new information that the Steelers’ scheme isn’t effective against New England. So while it’s one team, it’s either that or hope that someone else beats…
My dad is a lifelong Steelers fan, and I was talking to him after the game on Sunday. If you know that the best team in your conference - the team you’ll most likely be playing every year to get to the Super Bowl - has an offense that completely owns your defensive scheme year in and year out, WHY WOULD YOU NOT CHANGE…
I swear they changed the recipe to both Chicken in a Biskit and Vegetable Thins. Veggie Thins taste like basically nothing now, and Chicken in a Biskit aren’t caked with that bullion-y goodness like they used to be.
It’s definitely a thing. I even remember Wendy’s giving out crackers with their chili, though I haven’t eaten there in years, so I don’t know if they still do.
a 12 oz cup of coffee would do nothing to a sheet of ice. You could literally just wipe it up with a paper towel and keep playing.
This isn’t a cracker ranking as much as it’s a “what’s on the cracker” ranking. You should rank each cracker when eaten by itself.
“Juice Monsters Five”
Yes! Everyday after school I would rush home to watch DBZ.
In Altissia? I’ve only just opened up Duscae! Looks like I’ve just decided what I’m doing this weekend.
It was actually 55% of voters with full ballots this year!
I think the argument is that you’re being too conservative in your estimate of the 203 people that didn’t vote for Clemens. I would say at least 200 of those voters aren’t voting for him strictly because of his PED use.
I’m not comfortable using just raw numbers for the average, considering there were 2 protest ballots and a number of other strange 1-2 player “message” ballots. The fact is that 55% of voters had a full ballot, that’s a lot, and it lends credence to the crowded ballot theory, since most guys with full ballots are…
I know that, but I’ve seen multiple voters cite that incident specifically as their character clause argument for leaving him out.
I mean, Bonds only got 54%, so if you count 45% as the PED penalty, it seems about right for his first ballot. (Manny is never getting in though)
Oh definitely, I think the limit is stupid, but it wouldn’t even be an issue without writers refusing to put the PED guys in.
Except Pudge is probably going to make it in on his first ballot.
You nailed it. If Bonds and Clemens got in first ballot like they should have, Edgar got in shortly after and Schilling didn’t keep threatening to lynch everyone voting for him, the ballot would look a lot cleaner, and there would definitely be some votes thrown Posada’s way, at least enough to keep him over 5%.
If I’ve learned anything from the last 12 months, it’s that the best way to get people to love and respect you is to constantly doubt their patriotism.
The mechanic in that still looks like Frank Grimes without his glasses.
