I miss Bunheads, Benched and Garfunkle and Oates. All gone too soon.
Oh, and Happy Endings forever!

I think what made Porky's stand out was full frontal female nudity. It was certainly uncommon at the time and still not something we see everyday in movies now, except for porn.
I am and I love it too. Really over the top.
I saw about 20 minutes of 50 Shades of Gray last week. I still haven't been able to wash it out of my brain when I see Dakota Johnson.
Love the Dirty Projectors and hope that they will be releasing something soon. I was supposed to see them open for The National, but the opener ended up being Local Natives. What a letdown.
Love this song! Mrs Gus does not because she doesn't like being reminded of being dead. What movie does this play over the closing credits? Is it Something Wild?
I have never heard my wife laugh louder or longer than when Penny said this.
."Pat, in this light you look just like KD Lang," is still one of the funniest lines ever on SNL.
Hadn't heard of this band until I read this article, but ooh that's a good song. Reminds me of Sharon Van Etten.
Great news! Can't wait to see Bocephus next season.
VH1 Classic had an SNL marathon this summer to celebrate the show's 40th anniversary and this episode was one that aired. These performances were astonishing to see. Probably the highlight of the marathon.
The Documentary Now parody of The Thin Blue Line is just hilarious. Probably my favorite episode of TV from last year.
You hit most of my highlights of 2015: You're the Worst, Documentary Now, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, BUT where is the ensemble award for the cast of Another Period?
This has been my favorite Christmas song since it came out in the winter of '81. My wife likes to point out that if the couple in the song stayed together they would be celebrating their 35th Christmas together this year. Goddamn I'm old.
Beat me to it. I love that routine and that entire episode! My favorite MST3Ks were always the social problem movies. Well, those and Coleman Francis.
I love Cloudbusting! Probably the only Wilhelm Reich-inspired pop song ever written.
My wife claims "Golden Lights" and "Oscillate Wildly" are the best. She has issues.
"The Headmaster Ritual", "Rusholme Ruffians" and "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" have always been my favorites. HKIMN is the 1st Smiths song I ever heard. I asked the guy who played it if all their songs sounded like that. He said, "yeah, pretty much" and I was hooked.
MASH was never the same once BJ grew a mustache.
Goddamn, this is the best random roles I've ever read.
