Christ, I was 31 and I saw all that before I left for work that morning (only to be sent home about 90 minutes later.)

Have you signed up yet for the "Netflix of wine?"

Have we somehow been fucking up ad revenue?

Adam ruins everything.

Larry Hovis?

OH GREAT.

Aw, shit. I didn't read down.

Ninety-Minute Hate is better than Two-Minute Hate.

I was just thinking about this. While it amuses me that a bunch of smartass writers, who were probably smartass kids and/or class clowns, have to deal with an entire corps of smartasses on the internet, I can also empathize with them.

I've never commented on a Gawker Media site, so I don't really know.

One would hope the modding won't be that heavy-handed and corporate, but who knows?

Suits love standardization.

That's… not a good system.

Gahhh.

"Upvoting" may not have been the right word. In order for one's comment to be visible to the public, it has to be approved by a moderator.

I'll hang, to see how it goes, but after that? I dunno—Rabin's site?

Look at us all sticking up for Disqus now. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Then that would be acceptable.

I think this comment community is so damn active, they'll have to ditch the modding. Who could keep up? Also, they're not going to want to pay to staff that position with the multiple bodies necessary 24/7.

As I said, below/above, they should have held off on posting that until they were ready to talk about it in real time.
