And the kicker here is that none of these sanctimonious assholes were bothered enough to say anything about a human being calling someone a retard. Fuck.All.Of.them.

I love Dr. Nerdlove and his advice, but in general I think that he missed something here, which is what you pointed out: “A” is an asshole. I would have noped so hard out of there at the blatant disrespect that she allowed. If I’m with someone, I kind of expect that they won’t let others insult me, group dynamics be

FOR REAL. Im a man and I like playing as women too! People need to just relax and let people be who they want to be in games. More inclusiveness is always better.

Important note: it’s not at all uncommon for fighting games to build off a prior version by carrying forward the engine and key assets (the former is in fact very common in all iterative game series). That’s never made them ports, they’ve always been regarded as new games.

Gotta say Sekiro is the one that got me the most curious.

Katanas are mandatory I guess.

His name is actually Fox McCloud, the fighter group was named star fox, do some research before you try to correct someone

Executing a trick shot with no power, while possible, sent it back as a really lofty shot which was easy for the opponent to get under and smash. Correct me if I’m wrong, but

Are there any fighting games without health meters? Like, games where you don’t have a clear idea of when you’re avatar is about to be knocked out?

I haven’t historically enjoyed fighting games, but I really liked ARMS last year and Mario Tennis reminds me a lot of ARMS.

Man, I tried the demo this weekend and it was wayy deeper than I had anticipated. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not, it’s certainly not something I expected from a Mario sports title.

I’m super excited for the release, I must have played at least 15 hours out of the entire weekend ranking up and winning tournaments.

The beta was great, had a lot of fun. Couldn’t get through the third round in the tournament though... I think I was getting schooled by 9 year olds.

Stealing mechanics between games is commonplace, and I don’t think the “power bar & special” idea defines the fighting genere.
