You could only control the camera in SMG1 and 2 at times, not all the time. There were a number of points, and I'm not talking about side scrolling sections, where you might try to move the camera to get a better look, and it wouldn't let you.

Not the best camera system ever, but still better than most on the consoles

You can use Wii U Pro Controller ,)

Did you not read the following paragraph?

Indeed, I spent most of my time playing the game on the Wii U controller screen, just because it was more convenient; it makes so little use of the console's "two screen" feature that instead of offering maps, or a power-up button, or something, the controller screen simply mirrors the TV action, meaning you don't

Oh, for chrissakes, as long as it's a good game, that's all that matters. Just because they used some restraint and didn't shoehorn in a bunch of WiiU-specific gimmicks, just to justify the platform it was developed for, that's somehow a black mark?

Hell, son, that's the best news I've heard all day. :P

Is there any sort of second player option like in Galaxy or NSMBU that lets them assist another player?

So aside from the camera the only complaint here is that there weren't more WiiU gimmicks? But if there were gimmicky controls we would hear nothing but how the controls didn't work very well or were too gimmicky.

Does this game support 3D for 3D TVs? I really liked how useful 3D was in Super Mario 3D Land.

I get what you mean by not using the WiiU in terms of what it can do, but I can't help but feel this is a bit nitpicky. You can still play the game on the game pad which is a huge draw for me personally, and the WiiU is killing for good games, and this is one of them.

SM3DW is a fantastic game. Just...fun, from beginning to "end". I had a smile on my face almost the entire time. It's packed with charm from front to back, contains some memorable levels and provides seamless multiplayer fun. If you own a Wii U, congratulations, your wait for a truly special game for the system is

I'm not sure its such a big deal that its not using the two screen thing that much. Imagine if they did shoe horn in a bunch of unnecessary elements, it would drag the whole game down. For me the screen is there for off TV play, party games and the odd game that can use it creatively. It is not a prerequisite that

Mario and the people at nintendo's are furries. That being said, this game looks like a blast!

I think this is an accurate assessment. :)

I think these are the most similar consoles either company has made yet, barring the side difference. Great photoshop btw.

Not really a fan of the sloped look either, preferring my angles to be right. The X1 fits better with most the rest of the stuff in our tv unit.

I have to do this, Riley.

They're both hideous. If it weren't for the logos, I wouldn't be able to tell which is which. Bland, boring, boxy, and entirely forgettable.

People from 100 years from now or 100 years ago will say they look the same.

I don't hate either, but the PS4's look has really grown on me.

I'm both tired and drunk, so I read "Aren't he afraid that it might accidentally reveal he's Batman?"
