Demise of 3-pedal is sad, of course. But it’s gotta be a pretty specific population that would specifically want Accord with 3-pedal. The end of manual Accord is a symptom, of course, not the condition. And condition is, I need a 4-door sedan, and I don’t want Accord with manual, I want Quattroporte with manual, and I

Look, I took your team’s advice and got the damn wagon, even though it has zero (none) rear cupholders. But now I have to stop and panic-click on every headline with “Buick” in it. Could you at least post a clear warning when the aforementioned link contains zero (none) information about the Tour-X? Thanking you in

It’s really interesting and relevant to the story to see what the car originally looked like. At least a commenter had the good sense to show us. Shame it wasn’t included in the poorly written irrelevant rant above. SMH

Whoever created the commercial for the Pontiac GTO’s Endura bumpers was a genius.

Everywhere. Everywhere they had a reputation for being unreliable pieces of crap with expensive parts.

If I understand what I think you are saying, it was mentioned in the article.

I love it when people 30 years younger than me refer to themselves as old

Daniel Stern is THE man. He fabbed up a full main and high beam harness for my 89 Land Cruiser with majorly upgraded Hella lenses and upgraded Halogens. Before and after performance was staggering—before it was like driving down the road with 2 candles and after even on low beams I could see forever.

I wouldn’t take Stern’s word for much.

Not every car is targeted to driving enthusiasts and has to have 500+ hp. The Crosstrek is one of them. Most buyers are happy with a car that is reliable, serviceable, and meets their transportation needs without asking too much in return.

Ya im very surprised or maybe not that surprised that jalopnik did the bare minimum for this article.

Me to Toyota after seeing the Corolla Cross:

If there’s no manual, it’s not a hot hatch. Look at all the “competition” listed here. Clutches down the line. A hot hatch is supposed to provide a certain experience. The car is probably fine and fast and whatever, but it’s not in the same category as the others.

All a driver really needs is a speedo, a tach, temperature and oil gages.”

My Take: Full-Screen clusters suck, especially since no one uses OLED displays. You always get horrendous background glow at night since LCDs have poor contrast, and let through a lot of light - even with a pure black background.

Using 2/3rds of the screen to display the truck in different scenarios is just such

It’s a 5 liters Camaro, according to Walker and the Carscoops link, not a 5,7.

What fun!! Guess you can wait in the slip stream for the extra ton to take its toll on the tires...LOL

I also do not reverse with the brake, clutch is enough, brake and gas are not used, unless i have to quickly reverse back or stop for some reason suddenly

You obviously don’t know how to drive a stick, because that is not how it works at very low speeds.. You adjust your speed with the clutch and the gas, only brake if you need to stop NOW, or downhill. In most cars, you never get the clutch out all the way while reversing unless you were backing up a REALLY long way,

I don’t, I typically back up slowly and hit the clutch to stop propulsion. If it’s a real emergency I’ll hit the brakes.
