People play violent videogames and watch violent shows and movies all over the world. And yet why are we still the one country with a huge gun problem? Oh right, the NRA.
Meeting with him will accomplish NOTHING. This is an example of the GOP shifting the blame away from the real problem, the NRA. They are not going to fix this with one meeting. Trump will ramble on about nonsense that has been disproved many times over and it’s basically the fucking 90's all over again.
There are dozens of studies that prove games and other forms of entertainment don’t cause more violent behavior. Usually games have been tied to LESS violent youth and are shown to increase mental acuity in a majority of people.
Warcraft IV is happening. It just happens to be called World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. Look at the PvP features and the new Warfronts.
He’s wrong, but also not wrong. Why wasn’t a gun that dangerous locked up safely where someone like him couldn’t get access to it? Why didn’t anyone have the kid seek help, or at the very least get him some therapy time for what he likely got into? He was clearly disturbed before the incident, and yet they choose to…

So instead we vote in the single biggest idiot in history just because the other person wasn’t a great idea? Sorry, I still don’t buy that. The other Republican candidates had actual plans and didn’t plan on being completely bombastic morons trying to goad North Korea into nuking us, destroying the EPA, and screwing…
I’m a huge fan of the Charge Blade for melee because Axe mode can just devastate medium sized monsters if you land a full combo with the element discharge. For ranged I’ve fallen in love with the Heavy Bowguns. They can just devastate Barroths like no tomorrow and it makes taking on Wyvern types that much easier since…
This headline is completely misleading. Yes, the agreement to reopen the government included DACA issues, but they have not killed the program yet. Is it completely a scumbag move to hold those in the program all but hostage in lieu of a “Yay” vote to reopen the government? Abso-freakin-loutely.
I’m surprised you didn’t post that Hiromi Tsuru was also the voice of Reina, the bartender at Serena, from Yakuza 0. She was a great character in that game too. Though admittedly her performance as Bulma outshines practically everything else she did.
I’m not making a blanket statement to everyone, just that it’s a preconceived stereotype because that’s what’s in the limelight. Not everyone is 100% the same, it’s just the most vocal bunch tends to be the ones the public gravitates towards as the example of a particular group of people. A very large majority of…
People are creating this unnecessary controversy because it’s the trendy thing to do now. “Hey, this game is going against social norms, DOWN WITH SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU THINK ABOUT IT.” That’s the goddamn point of art, it should make you pause and think about it. It could be because of sheer beauty, maybe it…
Almost anything Mamoru Oshii made is a must-see. Patlabor, Ghost in the Shell, The Sky Crawlers.
This is nowhere near finished, not by a long shot. This is likely going to go to the District and Supreme courts and almost every tech company in the land is going to end up testifying. This whole issue is going to turn into a civil rights debate rather quickly, and unless Congress gets their shit together it will…
Surprise! It’s STILL Pay2Win crap. They fixed nothing. Disappointed on all fronts. This could have been good. Nope. It’s still garbage.
Designing a compelling world without a minimap is challenging. I like the fact more people are catching on and getting the idea, but some games do still need it (i.e Witcher 3, as mentioned by Lambonius).
Any game engine could be used to make any game. An engine is mostly how software handles asset rendering and code, not gameplay. Gameplay and mechanics all boil down to code and how it’s used.
Blizzard already does legacy support. It’s called Timewalking. It works fine.
This is so very true. My family has a ‘95 Chevy Impala SS with just a hair under 64k miles on it, still practically fresh. Only thing replaced on it were front tie rods and a set of tires, along with the periodic fluid changes and I think an engine sensor of some kind once because it got too wet and fried.
