@Byakko: Then the silly average American wouldn't know how to pronounce it. How would they say, for example, xia qu? Good luck getting that right on the first try. I do agree that it's a two-way street though.

I believe that games are an expansion of the definition of art, a pioneer of sorts. No other medium allows for the audience to interact directly with the work. This direct contact and interaction allows for a much wider range of possibilities for the artist and the audience alike, and facilitate a deeper emotional

Man, our box art is so boring. Her pose looks way more interesting on theirs.

@Evdor: You can take a crap THREE TIMES AS FAST.

@Jon: It's extra awesome because I'm a sorta Ultramarines player (got 1 squad, a Rhino, and a Dreadnought painted before I ran out of free time to do Warhammer 40k). Wish I could find one.

@Jon: Really? I'd kill for one of these. How did you come across it? Any idea of the official name so I can see if I can find one for sale?

@Bricked: Good point, all you have to do is color them the right scheme and they're basically Spartans already.

Gotta love the adoring, framed photo of Jack Tretton, ever-present in these commercials.

@Fusion-X: Same as the Dual Shock.

@Praetor: I've actually heard that the DeLorean was too underequipped to reach 88 mph easily, ironically enough.

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.

Where's the Midnight Riders?

I'm really excited about this. Sure, it's terrible to have combat on our home turf, but as CoD:MW2 proves, games are just more exciting in such an environment. I get a kind of astonishment and a sort of grim adrenaline rush from seeing familiar locales torn up by warfare. It's sort of like watching a disaster movie. A

You can't kill the messiah.

@BoxOfScraps: I always laughed at the scene where James Earl Jones is talking to Kane on the giant videoscreen, and Kane squeezes his hand and blood comes out. Always found it hilarious.

Ah, memories. Tiberian Sun was my first RTS, and possibly my first real game. It was so cool with its live action cinematics, and then-nice-looking graphics.

@Komrade Kayce: They could go the route of it has a greater firing rate and larger clip, but takes forever to reload and isn't too accurate, and extremely inaccurate on the move. This is how most games I've seen handle machine gun type weapons. Maybe it decreases movement speed too, those M60s are heavy.
