At least it’s super wealthy Japan taking their turn for an Olympic flogging. When it’s a developing nation such as Brazil it’s a lot more troubling.

Re: your last para, is that really a thing? From experience, the refractory period following a non-ejac orgasm lasts a lot longer than following a standard one. Admittedly this is usually an accidental, non-attentive, “I’ve been a bit too ambitious with edging” thing rather than the deliberate scenario you describe.
Avatar checks out.
Considering the $30k person is probably working a physically intensive job, while Mr/Mrs $300k is desk-bound and can presumably carry on doing what they were doing in some capacity (how debilitating are we talking here?)... that’s quite messed up.
AKA the olgiarch’s Miami.
Probably? I think that’s a touch strong, tbh. Even had they grasped the opportunity to go seven points clear over the past two match-days, I still wouldn’t be counting City out. Three points clear, though? That’s nothing. And (as an aside) I don’t buy into the fatigue argument posited in the article at all, City’s…
Poor little Belgian.
Newcastle, Blackburn, Blackpool, Charlton, Coventry... English fans aren’t shy when it comes to rallying against woeful owners.
“Monaco went 2-7-3...”
You’re guaranteed to qualify. So there’s that stumbling block out of the way from the start, at least.

Charlie Adam makes (pre-Liverpool) Xherdan Shaqiri look like a paragon of professionalism.
I’m not American, so I’ll have to take your word for it re: death sensibilities. I can probably count the number of Americans I’ve directly conversed with on one hand: a couple of tourists in Oxford, a former Marine turned small-town New Zealand PE teacher, a hostel roommate, a university tutor. Struggling after that.…
And if you insist on flying privately, probably best to avoid a single-engine turboprop.
The train from Nantes to Paris alone is going to take the better part of 3 hours. Ditto Paddington to Cardiff Central, which depending on the time of day will take anywhere between 2 and 3 hours. Chuck on another 2 hours for the Chunnel, and allow an hour for connections etc, and you’re talking at least 9 hours.…
Given that the Chunnel can only get you as far as Kent, and the cumulative journey time by road from Nantes to Coquelles and Folkestone to Cardiff amounts to something like 10 hours: yes, it is much faster.
Grande Torino, The Busby Babes, Zambia’s national team, Alianza Lima, Chapecoense, the Colourful XI, Matthew Harding, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and now, it appears, Emiliano Sala.
“I think I’m mostly surprised there aren’t many world-touring athletes doing what he does...”
“Sure, the club rarely goes for that Route 1 approach...”
Yeah, it does sort of defy logic. Personally I’m frequent non-watcher of Raw but keep up with what happens via a handful of wrestling podcasts. If it wasn’t for the segment getting such a universal hammering I wouldn’t have been moved to seek out the Youtube clip. So perhaps at least a chunk of the views were people…
