There’s disagreements with them all, but Christianity isn’t pulling these stunts across the globe. Nations aren’t dedicating billions in dollars a year in order to fight Christian extremism.
Here’s the thing though. These guys have done nothing but gotten more powerful with the previous president.
You’re comparing state actors to non-state actors; likewise you’re confusing actions done by Christians with actions specifically motivated by Christianity. Hiroshima may have been bombed by a Christian nation, but religion wasn’t the primary motivation for it (WWII was a competition of two primarily secular visions.)…
Ok. At least I got to see a German Christmas market before they put up the concrete barriers. Those were the days.
“Our societies”?
Yes but the fundamentalists are the ones who harbor, protect and support the terrorists in their neighborhoods and enclaves. The two go hand-in-hand.
I’ll address the elephant in the room: men. Male violence. Toxic masculinity.
“ongoing investigation” = Theresa May trying to figure out how to squash the fact that they removed surveillance of the suspect and gave them a passport to Syria during her reign as home secretary. The brits have a history of trying to disappear information that puts them in a bad light.

Whatever, if your definition of “ally” is “white people who do whatever I say whenever I say it without daring to question me at all because I am black” then, no, you really don’t want an ally. And that’s exactly what we see here as we often do on sites like The Root and Jezebel. There’s this noxious attitude of “Oh…
I just think this is a really good use of time and political energy. Getting all upset because a comedian made a joke.
Because he “sticks it to religion”, that is why he is still a thing. He is one of the loudest atheist voices out there and sometimes just being the loudest is what keeps you relevant. Bill O’Riley is another testament to this idea. You think ol’ papa bear got his following on his white man views alone? I can list you…
Stop whining about the other guy’s art, create your own.
Co-opting? Marginalizing? Hate crime?
