It may be just me, but on occasion I’ll hear some of my British troops speaking with a very ‘Maritimer’ accent. I feel like this is a tiny way EA added Canadians to the game, without actually making us a ‘side’.

Yeah, these things are awesome. The Boxing one came into the pawn store I worked at. It runs on some button battery cells, and the 2nd player had to start the 2 player mode. Not cheap, neither.
