So what you’re saying is if a little LEGO dude offers you a chocolate ice cream cone, you shouldn’t eat it?

This list is in random order except #1

Technically Tetris was part indie part government property.

Yes! I know it’s become cool in certain circles to bash the first one, but seeing it in IMAX 3D back in the day is still the best cinema experience I’ve ever had.

I don’t give a shit about what anyone else thinks- Pikmin is one of my all-time favorite video game series and has never failed to lull me into a sense of zen and calm even as I try to rally all of my little buds before night falls and the creatures eat them. I am as excited for this as I am for the new Zelda or

When Miyamoto then started talking about the Pikmin mobile game, which has been out for a while, chat started losing its shit. We haven’t seen Miyamoto in some time and this is what he wants to tell the world about? What made it especially funny is that there’s no way Miyamoto isn’t aware of how this might be

So Amber is the one that filed the documents with the court through Depp’s lawyers?

Yeah, I’m going to just ahead and assume that John McClane was at the airport to pick up his wife.

I still think of Small Soldiers as spiritual successor to the Gremlins films , definitely the same vibe , and a lot of the same crew.

Little Dreamcast game called ‘Toy Commander’ that E. Vogel mentioned is what I immediately thought of.

I was going to say “Toy Commander.”

I remember Small Soldiers because I had a crush on Kirsten Dunst back in the day thanks to Jumanji.

I came to say the same thing.

Sir, this is the internet. You are going to have to take your reasonable and measured opinion somewhere else.

I never understood the group consensus that Chris Pratt represents some specific Evangelical evil. It sounds like his church operates that way at an organizational level, but HE strikes me as a kind of “apolitical centrist” type: complacent with his privilege (which certainly sucks, to be fair), but not actively

So wait but the difference between a season of TV and an 11-hour movie seems to be that a film tells one story, where each episode of a TV show tells its own small beginning middle and end tale within the narrative of the over-arching season.

So... my question is, is there seriously only one middle beginning and ending

Screw that—I’m going to release a service that takes the 11-hour movie and plays it back at one frame per second for 11 consecutive days.

Sorta felt like they closed the chapter on Sidney’s story in Scream 4. It was the perfect cap to her story. She’s the original. She’s finally out, and then Scream 5 had her married with kids. Let Sidney be happy.

Eh. Scream has an out because it’s so meta.  They can both make fun of that very situation, and allow it to be believable, because it’s all essentially copycat killings anyways.  Of course each of the copycat loonies would want to take a run THE Sidney Prescott too.

What about people who are falsely accused and spend decades in jail? People of color who are still locked up, even though it has been clear they didn’t commit any crimes?
