XL has better image? Have you seen the two side by side! I have, and let me tell you: while the XL might have bigger screens, it also blows out the graphics to fit that screen, producing overall lower quality of image.

Maybe because not everyone needs nor want it that big. I think everything looks crappier on a bigger screen. And while the regular 3DS is a tad too small, the new 3DS is a bit bigger falling into a sweet spot range for me.

I'm so disappointed that Nintendo of America is jipping us on the option for the smaller model as well as swappable face plates. I was really excited for that way of personalizing the system. Guessing you're an iPhag gamer or a Gayroid gamer... cause in no way will platformers work. Not all controllers work with all phones. Plus there is a delay, Sega hasn't figured this out yet, Nintendo wont either.

They wouldn't be successful that way, because their portable sells on being affordable, and since it lacks strong specs benefits in the battery life department.

The only way Nintendo will become a huge hit is if they go the Sony/Microsoft route and make their system stupidly-powerfull hid the biggest screen size available., and with a gimmickless controller.

I wanted to be impressed with the "photogrammetry" in that game, but wasn't. The interactive flash widgets they posted looked awesome, but when plopped into a game world, it looked like pretty much every other Unreal Engine title out there.

Still, it's only one level, but the tower technically fell and according to the rules, that means game over. ಠ_ಠ
