Eraser is awesome, though. And What Lies Beneath as well. Beautifully shot.

Best game of the show imho
“Press start twice” You do realize there is no Start button on a Switch controller, right? Unless you play on PC with a different controller? -_-
I never said the law was right though, and I understand that people might break it because they think it’s fair to do so. Once again, people can do what they want as long as they’re aware it’s legal or not. I just feel that these days a lot of gamers are acting like sovereign citizens who bend laws to fit their needs.
I think in this case, it’s not the hardware but the software environment, the OS that matters. The new Zelda was made for the Switch OS, not Windows or Linux.
Absolutely, and it’s also impossible to prevent everyone from illegally downloading stuff. I myself downloaded stuff illegally a few times (not that many, though, at least compared to most people), but at least I was always aware it was illegal. My problem is that too many people interpret the law as they need…
“While emulation in general is often associated with piracy, some enthusiasts make use of it to simply play games they already own on higher-spec machines or with mods and other gameplay-enhancing hacks.”
Problem is, I’m not sure this is legal, even though most people wish it was. When you buy a game, you actually…
Yeah, you’re absolutely right. That’s why games like Tetris are minor in the history of video games. :)
And now that I think about it, they may be called “video games”, not “narrative video games”, for a reason.
Good for you but believe it or not, but I put very little stock into what some rando from today thinks about my favorite art.
Except that Fire Emblem’s gameplay is partly based around relations between characters. Try again.
You don’t have to caricature what I said, you know, even though I’m aware my initial words were exaggerated to make people react (and it worked :P) and also because I’m a little pissed off about several articles in this style recently (regarding Bayonetta 3 and the latest Fire Emblem, for instance).
I’m perfectly aware…
Being also “stuck” with the third edition (even though I played a little with the previous one, sometimes funnier but very convoluted), this is very intriguing. Since I was told the 4th edition sucked (for being over-simplified), I lost my interest for the whole game and focused on Space Hulk instead.
I’m sorry but the brothers Lumiere didn’t invent cinema to tell stories. Not all movies should tell one, that’s what I’m saying. But I’m aware it’s shocking to most people, because of Hollywood mostly.
The problem is not the tonal dissonance; it’s that most gamers today expect video games to have a story, which is sad imho. Advance Wars is just about strategy, just skip the dialogues... Storytelling is the cancer of movies, video games, politics, and everything these days. T_T
And that’s precisely why I love Advance…
I actually liked House At The End Of The Street. Fight me. :)
What about screenshots and trailer to, you know, have an idea of what the game looks like. :)
Yeah, you’re just the 10th to point that out even though I’m well aware. -_- I asked because I precisely have a Blu-ray drive in my PC and yes, it was not that easy to get the right tower for it. I find quite dumb than these days, desktop PCs have nothing but USB, while a SD card reader would be the minimum in 2023…
“rip them to PC, and then use those disc images on the emulator” What about putting the original discs in a PC’s DVD-ROM drive???
“Given Nintendo’s track record” Sure, Nintendo never rereleased any game. :)
I thought it was a well known thing, since it was brought up when Luigi’s Mansion was remade on the 3DS, since the original was supposed to be in 3D.
