Look, Sting is the proto-Bono, but don’t talk shit about any Police song or album up to and including Ghost In The Machine. And especially don’t bitch about lyrical content and then recommend Prince, who’s songs are all about a) asking somebody to fuck, b) fucking, c) recounting how great the fucking was.

I have to disagree. I believe The Police are good.

Thank you for being the sole Internet commenter brave enough to stand up for the police in 2016.

For nearly 40 years he has made slickly-produced, clever, smarmy bullshit music congratulating boomers for thinking how nice it would be to be, like, citizens of the Earth, man. He has not made anything else...

“If the glove don’t fit, you... uh... won’t notice because you can’t feel your fingertips.”

“Thanks for giving this one to me, Tom. You can be obliterated by Kuechly and Norman *next* year”

This is going to be a repeat of 2013. The Super Bowl will be over before Coldplay even takes the stage.

I think they will struggle since the most comparable offense that the Broncos have recently played would be the Steelers in the regular season. Also, if they would have had brown and williams don’t tell me that anyone could have seen them winning that playoff game. Another team would have been the Bengals in week 16

Will be fun to see how this defense plays against the Panthers who actually have a running game.

Almost everything I’ve read suggests that, perhaps paradoxically, in a truly unbundled, a la carte world, consumers would end up paying the same or even more for TV.

The flip side of the coin is that as long as the professional sports leagues are in cahoots with the cable networks, cord-cutting is not realistic for even casual sports fans who live in the same market as the team they follow. Paradoxically, a Mets fan living in San Francisco can watch every single one of his or her

The story about the Native American cave art is spellbinding. Oh, and the animals attacking people? Genius.

I’m one of those assholes who always has his nose in a book... or these days, the Kindle Paperwhite. I read two or three books a week, and being able to pack around one electronic device to accomplish that is heavenly. I used to be the guy with a backpack full of paperbacks and a suitcase full of cassette tapes. Glad

Please for the love of god read John Jeremiah Sullivan essays.

About 18 months ago, I was having trouble falling asleep at night. I also was reading, like, two books a year. As a writer of fiction, that’s not so good. My wife had the idea that maybe we should have “screen off time” every night at a certain time. We chose 11 PM, because we typically go to bed at 12:30.

A book a month is absolutely not laughable. I actually started with that resolution a couple years ago, and now I’m up to two or three a month. Not staring at screens in my free time (more than I already do) is fucking wonderful.

My last book was All the Light We Cannot See, and it was damn good.

What was the last actual, physical book you read? If you’re struggling for an answer, please keep reading. (Note:

The most embarrassing thing in this video is using the bar pad.
