I suppose it's possible that they like the idea of having some kind of court system to point to when dealing with other countries (UK, Japan, Canada, etc)

I think a few of the little girls in the school? orphanage? seen in a previous episode appeared to be Asian as well.

I think the nurse also says the babies who didn't make it through the night "are with God."

Plus, some of us are from NYC, and our families have been here for generations. It's not all transplants from Ohio and Bergen County.

I've never seen Swimming to Cambodia. That one clip froze my blood. RIP Jonathan Demme, Spalding Gray, and millions of Cambodian innocents.

I think I'd go with Phantom Menace, if only because the audience was (at first) hyped beyond belief and ready to love anything on the screen. After Jar-Jar's second or third blubbering line, I could somehow physically feel the disbelief and psychic distress in the audience as it dawned on us all that the movie sucked.

I really enjoyed the Aristocrats. I remember being pleasantly surprised by how funny and foul-mouthed Bob Saget was when not shackled to the purgatory of America's Funniest Home Videos, and I still remember that clip of the joke told just after 9/11. "Sorry I was late, I had to make a stop at the Empire State Building

I saw Titanic with a lively class-conscious crowd on opening night. They kept booing Frances Fisher, Billy Zane, and pretty much all of the first-class passengers, and when Fisher gave Kate Winslet that sad speech about how she needed to marry for money, someone yelled, "Get a job!"

Said dialog also would have been a slightly more plausible explanation for the delay in killing El Korl

Really? If they just ditch those dishwater-dull characters in Costa Rica or wherever the hell they are now and go back to the origins and start again, I will watch for sure. They could start with Tobias.

(interspersed with No I don't want cobbler well OK just leave it over there and I'll pretend I'm not interested until you leave)

I think Rick should wear the same scarf so we could have a "Who wore it best?" episode.

My favorite little moment was when Alex was detailing "Plan B" and Naomi pointed out said plan also likely involved dodging dozens of MCRN torpedos. I loved Alex's blasé "Yup" in response.

Sasha will be better off in space.

It killed me a little that she casually mentioned that she could stay behind with Prax and he said, "No, I'll meet you there." I wonder if that add to his crushing sense of trauma and guilt. It would for me.

Also, very good ship this way.

He was excellent. Looking forward to seeing more of his character.

Watching Amos with others, I actually don't believe that he is completely devoid of emotions or morality. I just think it is wired through a different part of his brain in a very convoluted and hazy manner. This does happen with other kinds of brain damage/trauma. You can almost hear him processing why he should stop

No, not related, but they clearly had some kind of close relationship. Definitely not totally decided whether it was merely professional or not. That said, Drummer seems to be an intensely loyal person by nature, so something really dire must have gone down between them.

It would amuse me greatly if Rosita actually ended up being able to kill Negan. Who would have suspected that the bitter one-note murder kitten actually - killed the right guy?
