Agree. A5 has some great stretches, as does A3. Why anyone would consider that overrated is beyond me. I can't think of any highway in the U.S. interstate system I would take over the autobahn... especially if one factors in the way drivers behave on each. Give me the autobahn any day.

This North Carolinian agrees.

I was sorry to see it also. I enjoyed it in 2007, but I hear it's only gotten worse (both in terms of traffic and enforcement).

Douche, even if telling the truth. I don't understand why these bikers (and I've seen other groups do it) feel like they have a right to slow down three cars so that they all get to stay in a group. Not saying the RR would be justified in knocking one down, but you don't get to slow down other cars and keep them in

Not saying it's not possible but...

Don't think he was trying to "pass". Looks to me like he realized he wouldn't be able to stop in time to avoid the other braking cars and swerved into left lane.

Automotive design has deteriorated to this: "We need to refresh model ____ . I know let's add some LEDs and chrome! Done. Alright, guys, where we going for lunch?"

And I hope that Mieses prevails and gets every penny... from Cruz, not Lien.

This is one of the few times where I can honestly say: if it was closer, I would actually buy it today.

uhmm, and where is the basis for the "side swipe" comment? Clearly, not from the video.

You're right - the police don't always get it right. It may be that they've arrested a particular individual with very specific charges as to what he was doing to the vehicle... and maybe the police has no witnesses and nothing more to go on than the same videos we've looked at. Whereas, Orlove has gotten the

From Gawker (and numerous other sources describing the FIRST incident):

Is he filming in portrait mode? He should've been run over.

The key as to whether this is just a "compliance car" or really a sign that Kia cares about the environment will be in what states it is offered.

It is unclear to you and me. However, the police have identified an arrested a specific individual for doing more than "just asking what happened" — in particular for punching the back window of the RR (as described by your colleagues at Gawker). My guess is the police may have more information than we do. At a

I think you missed or just decided to gloss over a couple details of the story.

At some point at around 1:30 in the afternoon on the West Side Highway in Manhattan, one of those riders (28-year-old Christopher Cruz) brake-checked the driver of a black Range Rover (33-year-old Alexian Lien). Lien rear-ended Cruz, and a number of bikers swarmed around the Range Rover to see what happened. Lien had

Just be prepared to pick up a lot of jalopniks.

it's pixelated because they were concerned you'd see that and say: "hey, I know those knees! That's Bob... my neighbor."

Agree. I listed it as possibly because of the poster's comments, but I agree with you that the toggle doesn't necessarily mean launch control. It's more likely just a replacement for the traction control button that sits left of the shifter in current 'Stang.
