Harrisburg, PA has something like this, just not quite as cool. They’re more gargoyle like. They prob really cool but they’re so high up, most the the detail gets lost. On State St bridge leading up to the Capitol.

OH MY GOD! The first thing I thought! I was mad at myself for clicking, knowing what to expect but no! Lo and behold...

I used to drive a box truck in Boston (used to deliver ice, it was insanely busy). One time I was forced to go on Storrow. I had to deliver to a rowing club or something. It took everything in my being to make myself do it. Imagine being told “Oh yeah, just stay in the right lane, you’ll be fine”. Made it through

OH! Love it! This is color I’ve been thinking about painting my car

Kinda like famous art work - where‘s somebody gonna sell something like that? Even pawn shops would be ‘This seems a bit dodgy...

Oh my god, does it really show up like that?? Doh. Apparently, I’m not an expert here

Gotta learn to use that Pajero hyperlink

Wait, wait. Here in the Midwest??? Aren’t you in PA? I grew up in PA and it is certainly not the Midwest. Ohio is debatable, but surely not PA. Which area are you in?

haha...pudding pants.

It seems like the exception for this was that they could get waaaaaay tucked up in the rafters (?) of the bridge. Versus just kinda being generally under it. Imagine that same video with 30-50 people trying the same thing. Mmhmm.

I have my first on the way and as a rally enthusiast - this is what I’m secretly hoping for

I’ve seen this and this is exactly why I thought you where supposed to stay under one

Pretty much. What do you need frequently? Arm’s reach and don’t bury it. What don’t you need? Goes on the bottom/middle (coming from a hatchback seats folded down perspective). It’s funny how difficult people make this. I been camping with 2 others in the car, a canoe on the roof, and everything you need to

Wow, that was my first car circa 1997ish. That thing sucked. This was before I knew anything about cars - it had a 2.3?!?!? I’d had a manual manuel and it was still awful. 2.3?? I figured 1.7 with it’s anemic output

Easy. I was 17 and seen enough movies that if you really punch the gas, it fishtails, esp around corners. :-( First time driving in snow, 90 degree left corner -> punch the gas - the car goes straight. No fishtail. No powerslide. No excitement. FWD Dodge Shadow. Had no idea. Hit a curb so hard, I bent my the frame of

Hot damn. Best Jalop review I’ve read in quite some time. You pretty much covered all of the bases - pros/cons/etc. Comprehensive. Great work (as usual) Mercedes!

No Mazda 5 in there?

There was on older article in Bike magazine (the mountain bike one) under the regular column ‘Butcher Paper’ that addressed this long ago. She coined the term ‘Bower’ (I believe).

Oh shit son. Nailed it on numerous fronts. Esp liked the “yesterday’s technology at tomorrow’s prices”. So painfully true.

Check my post to Dan in this thread. The SteelStik is incredible.
