Maybe there’s some dingo-borne utter fucking douchebag who should fucking quit already disease going around Down Under.
The correct response is that in most sports, the men’s and women’s games are substantively different and comparing them is a category mistake.
You skipped the fact he also got a time warning and proceeded to yell at the ballboys to move faster when he was serving. TV announcers were not impressed.
That sentence has sold a whole hell of a lot of SF-branded fleece pullovers to tourists over the years.
I was just flipping Sock some shit. Pro dubs has changed so much lately that I won’t claim to be an expert in their tactics. But it seems that doubles is played more down the middle these days, so it does make sense to put Sock’s forehand on the ad side with Nick’s backhand on the deuce side. And when you pair up Nick…
For a while there, Djokovic was running on pure confidence. He would eek through the early rounds until he got to Federer and then up his game. Now, his confidence has taken a hit and now he’s struggling to get through the rounds that he eeked through earlier.
This is the difference a blow to confidence makes. …
This is why it’s difficult to root for him. Admittedly, I’m a big Roger fan to the point I don’t root for anybody else. But, with Djokovic, he’s a gentleman when everything’s going great. All smiles and jokes. When things start to turn tho, he seems like a huge jerk. Maybe I just can’t forget the US Open moment.…
Stan the Man says hi. He won the French Open after turning 30 and last year won the US Open when at age 31.
Old, badass Federer is the best thing in sports. Nostalgic, still kicking ass. It’s what Tiger could’ve been if he wasn’t himself: old, broken, and shitty.
Djokovic is still only 29, which is no death sentence in the modern game...
You were in Nassau, where one could cobble together an impromptu vacation pretty easily. This was on Great Exuma, which has a very small population and much less infrastructure than Nassau does. It is also the regatta this weekend in Exuma, so the island is already kinda full of Bahamians who traveled there for their…
Fed fan here but that was a happy accident - found the video and his shot clips the tape and drops over (can even see him raise his racket to apologize, right before the gif ends). Even Fed doesn’t purposefully hit net-cord winners...
To be fair, Federer changed his racquet in 2013 and it has been one of the main reasons for his 2014-present resurgence. They were mentioning it since he hasn’t had much chance to play Nadal since the change (because Nadal has been pretty bad since mid-2014.)
The Federer backhand is an awesome development. The best player in the history of the game still improving at 35 years old. Quite inspiring.

Do I get a prize for successfully predicting Murray will bottle it despite his easy draw?
Never underestimate Andy Murray’s ability to choke.
Watch as Murray somehow manages to lose in the first round despite having a bye.
This is the draw of death. I’d bet on a motivated Kyrios, but betting on Kyrios to be motivated is a fool’s bet.
